We’ve had a great first year! Our business and crafting continues to grow, develop and evolve. We appreciate everyone that has joined us on our journey and look forward to an even better 2024.
I’ve included a gallery of some of our work. Most of our products will remain on our website but we will continue to add a few of our products to our ETSY Shop - EastTnCrafting.

22 December 22:
We’re beginning the transition from JN Woodcraft to East Tn Crafting. We’re making this move for two reasons. First, although I didn’t realize it at the beginning, there is already an established business with a similar name (J|N Woodcrafts). A friend tried to tell me it was already a crowded space but I missed the hint. Anyway, they were here first so it’s only fair that we move in another direction. The second reason is that East Tn Crafting is a better descriptor for the direction we want to move in 2023 and beyond. Wood crafting will remain my core, primary interest but there are so many other exciting avenues to pursue. We hope you’ll join us on our journey.
16 December 22:
The problem with the images was a matter of aspect ratio, SquareSpace wants a 1:1 ratio (square-obviously) while my phone camera defaults to 4:3. Problem solved!
On another note, we’re beginning the transition to a new business name. JN Woodcraft will become (during 2023) East Tn Crafting. We think this will be a much better descriptor of the direction we want to grow. We’re getting set up in the various social media spaces. This website will continue to be our most direct public site for most of 2023.
2 October 22:
The email issue is resolved. Now I just need to sort out why my images are chopped off at the ends. In the meantime, most of my products are still available on ETSY.
1 October 22:
Today seems like a really good day to start adding items for sale on my website. Since this is the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month it seems appropriate to have a Breast Cancer Awareness Twist Pen as my first listing. I’ll add more listings throughout the day until I’ve got the store fully populated. My initial payment option will be through Paypal and Square should follow soon!
22 August 22: At least for now, my products will only be available through my ETSY store as shown above. Adding PayPal, etc to my website appears to be a bit more challenging than I expected. The process continues.
